Known for its innovative clinical care model, WellDyne has been recognized with a PBMI Excellence Award for Care Management Strategies, acknowledging the highly effective approach that ensures care decisions are more precise and appropriate. David Skomo, SVP, Chief Pharmacy Operations Officer, accepted the award on behalf of WellDyne at September’s PBMI National Conference in Orlando.
“Through better monitoring, multiple touchpoints and real-time adjustments, we risk-stratify patients, identify those who need additional support for best management of their conditions and accommodate others who may want to check in with us less,” explains David. “Our clinical care model allows us to apply care where it’s needed most.”
Specialty pharmacies have traditionally followed a one-size-fits-all approach, with patients receiving the same interactions on the same schedule. To achieve a holistic picture of each patient’s health, WellDyne combines information from connected devices, providers, patient reported outcomes and surveys to support better treatment decisions.
“Technology is speeding forward with new capabilities that influence better health outcomes and savings,” says Jeff Park, WellDyne Chairman and CEO. “At WellDyne, we invest in leading-edge tools and technologies to ensure patients receive the benefit of healthcare innovations.”
