October is American Pharmacists Month and we are proud to recognize our WellDyne pharmacy heroes! Our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians carefully listen, evaluate and act upon the needs of members, making a difference in preventive health, medication delivery, patient care and everything in-between.

It’s no surprise that pharmacists are among the most respected workers in the US. In fact, 71% of Americans rate pharmacists as having high levels of honesty and ethics, including them among the top 4 professions in the most recent Gallup poll.

Every day, our pharmacists are on the phone with people seeking guidance, knowledge and support as they navigate complex conditions. Some manage clinical programs that combine a holistic approach to wellness and optimal outcomes, helping patients achieve best possible results. Our pharmacy technicians ensure that people have their prescriptions in-hand when they need them.

As the most accessible healthcare professional, 90% of people live within 5 miles of a pharmacist. The teacher standing at the pharmacy counter, the mom worried about her sick child and the grandpa on the other end of the phone all rely on pharmacists. Serving them is an awesome responsibility.
